Our Ear Gear accessories even include our Compilot to fit over and protect body worn processors, as well as a neck tube which can help preserve the integrity of the wires connecting to the body worn processor.
2. What is the size of their device?
Does your patient know the size of their hearing aids? We have guidelines to help them measure at home, or you can help them with this. It's how we can ensure the correct fit, every time! Our models will fit even the smallest devices.
3. Do they wear a hearing device on one, or both ears?
Ear Gear for any device is available as a pair, or in our "mono" option. Of course, when it comes to our cordless models, if a patient needs only need one sleeve but purchases a pair instead, that just means they have a back up! It's always good to be prepared.
4. Are they concerned about device loss?
If the main concern is moisture and environmental protection, our Ear Gear cordless models are perfectly suited to the task. Sometimes, whether because of an active lifestyle, high winds, or even the unpredictable adventures of a child with hearing devices, loss is the biggest concern. Ear Gear offers corded versions of all models, meaning an elastic cord and secure clip will keep devices safe, even if they fall off the ear! In fact, our corded models are even available for any in-the-ear devices which are already fitted with an eye loop.
5. Do they also wear eyeglasses?
We know that sometimes wearing both glasses and hearing devices can makes things a little more complicated. Our aim is to make this experience easier, with Ear Gear's corded and cordless eyeglass models. With small rubber o-rings sewn into the Ear Gear sleeve, it's easy to ensure that glasses and hearing devices both stay securely in place.
6. What is their favourite colour?
If your patient wants more colour in their life, we have more than just beige on offer! While Ear Gear has a range of neutrals like beige, brown, black, and grey—all designed to be subtle and blend in seamlessly against skin or hair—we also know that subtle isn't for everyone. For those who want to have a little more fun with their devices, our standard range of colours also includes blue, pink, orange/red, and camouflage.
